Grocon update
A discussion with a representative of the Grocon group reveals that the clean-up will occur simultaneously across Victoria. In Marysville the process will take weeks/months but not a year. The number residents are allocated on registration does not indicate their place in the queue. When searching sites themselves owners should use contamination suits which may need to be discarded when a meal break is taken to avoid contamination. Beware as aware of snakes as you would previously when turning materials over, they are around. When a site is authorised as safe for Grocon's purposes, they will remove all debris down to the earth and remove it in covered trucks, since all bushfire waste is potentially contaminated with hazardous materials.
